{"id":20048,"date":"2022-10-10T08:59:10","date_gmt":"2022-10-10T08:59:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8080\/?p=20048"},"modified":"2022-10-10T08:59:10","modified_gmt":"2022-10-10T08:59:10","slug":"orange-mea-la-locomotive-du-groupe-orange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.cfecgc-orange.app\/index.php\/2022\/10\/10\/orange-mea-la-locomotive-du-groupe-orange\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange MEA: la locomotive du Groupe Orange"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[<em>French version here\/English version below<\/em>]<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre du Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Monde d&rsquo;Orange des 27, 28 et 29 septembre 2022 \u00e0&nbsp; Paris, la Direction du Groupe a inscrit \u00e0 l&rsquo;ordre du jour un point sur les op\u00e9rations en zone Middle-East &amp; Africa (MEA), dossier pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par J\u00e9r\u00f4me H\u00e9nique, nouveau Chief Executive Officer (CEO) successeur d&rsquo;Alioune Ndiaye \u00e0 la Direction d&rsquo;Orange MEA, et Elisabeth Medou Badang, Directrice des Ressources Humaines pour la zone MEA.<\/p>\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 des r\u00e9sultats depuis 1996 toujours en forte augmentation sur la zone MEA, J\u00e9r\u00f4me H\u00e9nique rappelle que celle-ci repr\u00e9sente plus que jamais en 2021 le premier&nbsp;moteur de croissance du Groupe. Sur cette large empreinte g\u00e9ographique pour le Groupe, l\u2019orientation vers un op\u00e9rateur multiservices demeure la priorit\u00e9, tout comme Alioune Ndiaye l\u2019avait port\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment.<\/p>\n<p>Sur l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2021, la croissance du chiffre d&rsquo;affaires par rapport \u00e0 2020 s\u2019\u00e9levait \u00e0 10,6%, alors que l\u2019EbitdAal progressait de 15% en 2019, puis de 16,8% en 2021. Avec 6,4 milliards d&rsquo;euros de chiffre d\u2019affaires en 2021 et 135 millions de clients, confort\u00e9 par une pr\u00e9sence \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e dans 17 pays, Orange consolide sa 3<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> place respectivement derri\u00e8re MTN (10 milliards d\u2019euros de chiffre d&rsquo;affaires) et Vodafone (7,3 milliards d\u2019euros).<\/p>\n<p>Orange repr\u00e9sente une marque puissante et reconnue sur la zone MEA, avec 25 millions de clients Orange Money, 38.000 sites radio, 65.000 kms de backbone terrestre, 10.000 kms de backbone fibre, 14 Data Centers, l&rsquo;ensemble op\u00e9r\u00e9 par 15.000 salari\u00e9s et 750.000 points de vente actifs.<\/p>\n<p>Les derni\u00e8res r\u00e9alisations du 1<sup>er<\/sup> trimestre 2022 compar\u00e9es \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de 2021 permettent d\u2019augmenter le chiffre d&rsquo;affaires de 8,7%, et l&rsquo;EbitdAal de 9,4% (+ 2 millions de clients mobiles, + 1,3 million de clients Orange Money\u2026).<\/p>\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, sur la base de 1,5 milliard d\u2019habitants en zone MEA, environ 700 millions de smartphones sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 distribu\u00e9s. D\u2019ici 2050, il est important de rappeler qu\u2019un quart de la population mondiale sera africaine, et parmi elle plus de 50% aura moins de 20 ans&nbsp;!<\/p>\n<p>Pour Orange, l\u2019inclusion num\u00e9rique (nos r\u00e9seaux et nos services \u00ab\u00a0ruraux\u00a0\u00bb), l\u2019inclusion financi\u00e8re (Orange Money, et maintenant Orange Bank) ainsi que nos engagements environnementaux (programmes TREE et OSCAR) sont la meilleure preuve d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie durable \u00e0 l\u2019horizon de 2025 incluant un grand respect pour le continent africain.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 une situation politique d\u00e9grad\u00e9e (ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 au Cameroun et en R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo, coups d\u2019Etat au Mali, en Guin\u00e9e et au Burkina Faso), Orange pr\u00e9serve ses salari\u00e9s et assure la continuit\u00e9 de ses activit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>En mati\u00e8re de gestion des comp\u00e9tences, Elisabeth Medou Badang confirme le pilotage des 17 familles de m\u00e9tiers sur la zone MEA avec de multiples ateliers par pays, une animation locale, et des formations (3121 visas obtenus en 2021) y compris pour les Centres de Services Partag\u00e9s (CSP).<\/p>\n<p>Les pr\u00e9visions d\u2019effectifs sur une trajectoire \u00e0 5 ans mettent en \u00e9vidence une progression mod\u00e9r\u00e9e de +3% \u00e9tal\u00e9e sur 3 ann\u00e9es, avec quelques \u00e9carts par famille notamment concentr\u00e9s sur le Management et les services aux occupants ou l\u2019immobilier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nos coll\u00e8gues africains s\u2019interrogent fortement sur l\u2019influence que peut conserver Orange sur les ressources humaines qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9es (outsourc\u00e9es) vers Ericsson, puis Huawei, dans le cadre du projet Kilimandjaro concernant la supervision des r\u00e9seaux. Elisabeth Medou Badang ne peut que partiellement rassurer les membres du Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Monde, car la voix d\u2019Orange ne peut qu\u2019\u00eatre consultative aupr\u00e8s de la Direction de Huawei, et de fait, malheureusement, la d\u00e9cision finale leur incombe totalement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sur cette question, l&rsquo;ensemble du Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Monde montre une nouvelle fois, s\u2019il en \u00e9tait besoin, sa totale solidarit\u00e9 envers leurs coll\u00e8gues africains. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Par ailleurs, sur le sujet de la repr\u00e9sentativit\u00e9 du Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Monde se posera en 2023 la question de son renouvellement sous deux aspects&nbsp;: le remplacement de l&rsquo;auditeur au Conseil d\u2019Administration d\u2019Orange (successeur de Babacar SARR) et le renouvellement de la mandature, \u00e0 savoir de tous les \u00e9lus repr\u00e9sentant chacun des pays \u00e9ligibles du Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Monde, et ceci pour 4 nouvelles ann\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[<em>English version<\/em>]<\/p>\n<p>As part of the World Works Council (WWC) on September 27th, 28th and 29th, 2022&nbsp;located in Paris, the Group Management included on the agenda a point for Operations in OMEA, presented by J\u00e9r\u00f4me H\u00e9nique, new Chief Executive Officer succeeding to Alioune NDiaye, and Elisabeth Medou Badang, Human Ressources Director for OMEA.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the results since 1996, which have always increased sharply in the OMEA zone, J\u00e9r\u00f4me H\u00e9nique recalls that this zone represents more than ever in 2021 the Group&rsquo;s leading growth engine. In the Africa and Middle East zone, the orientation towards a multi-services operator remains the priority, just as Alioune Ndiaye had carried it.<\/p>\n<p>Over the year 2021, the growth of OMEA turnover compared to 2020 amounted to 10.6%, while EbitdAal increased by 15% in 2019, then by 16.8% in 2021. With \u20ac6.4 billions of turnover in 2021 and 135 millions customers, a balanced presence in 17 countries, Orange consolidates its 3rd place respectively behind MTN (\u20ac10 billions) and Vodafone (\u20ac7.3 billions).<\/p>\n<p>Orange represents a powerful and recognized brand in the MEA zone, with 25 millions Orange Money customers, 38,000 radio sites, 65,000 kms of terrestrial backbone, 10,000 kms of fiber backbone, 14 Data Centers, and all this operated by 15,000 employees and 750,000 selling assets.<\/p>\n<p>The latest achievements of the 1st quarter of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021 allow to increase by 8.7% the turnover, and by 9.4% the EbitdAal (+ 2 millions mobile customers, + 1.3 million customers Orange Money\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>Today, out of 1.5 billion inhabitants in the MEA zone, around 700 millions smartphones have already been distributed. By 2050, it is important to remember that a quarter of the world&rsquo;s population will be African, and among them more than 50% will be under 20 years old !<\/p>\n<p>For Orange, digital inclusion (our &lsquo;rural&rsquo; networks and services), financial inclusion (Orange Money and now Orange Bank) and our environmental commitments (TREE and OSCAR programs) are the best proof of a sustainable strategy towards 2025 horizon including above all a full respect for the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a deteriorating political situation (insecurity in Cameroon and in Democratic Republic of Congo, putsch in Mali, Guinea and Burkina Faso), Orange is preserving its employees and ensuring the continuity of its activities.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of skills management, Elisabeth Medou Badang confirms the management of 17 families of skills in OMEA with multiple workshops per country, local animation, and training (3,121 visas obtained in 2021) including for the Shared Services Centers (CSP).<\/p>\n<p>Staffing forecasts over a 5-year trajectory show a moderate increase of +3% spread over 3 years, with some differences per family, particularly concentrated in &lsquo;Management&rsquo; and &lsquo;Services to occupants or real estate&rsquo;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our African colleagues are seriously questioning the influence that Orange can have on all human resources which have been &lsquo;exported&rsquo; (outsourced) to Ericsson, then to Huawei, as part of the Kilimanjaro project concerning network supervision.
