Revenue was up for the second consecutive year (+ 1.2%), as well as adjusted EBITDA (+ 2.2%) and operating cash flow growth (+ 0.8%). Revenues are returning to growth in France for the first time since 2009, and the other territories in which the Group operates are also posting strong performances, particularly in Europe, and particularly in Spain and Romania, as well as in the MEA area (Middle East & Africa).

Particularly in the 4th quarter of 2017, France recorded growth in mobile services revenues for the first time since 2011 (+ 15%), as well as strong net sales in fixed broadband, despite an environment that remains highly competitive. For its part, Spain posts a solid quarter of revenue growth (+ 9%), thus supporting a record growth in adjusted EBITDA, thanks to a value-driven approach, again in a strong and very competitive market. In Poland, fixed broadband performance reflects the success of the Broadband strategy as well as convergent offers. For their part, Belgium and Luxembourg also posted strong net sales of mobile contracts thanks to the convergence and attractiveness of mobile data offers. Finally, in the other Central European countries, monetization of data and convergence kept sales and revenue growth at a high level (+ 5.6%).

For countries in Africa and the Middle East, revenue growth, up + 5.7%, was driven by data, B2B offers and Orange Money (+ 5.7%). Business market turnover has now almost stabilized, thanks to continued growth in IT and IS (security) services, as well as mobile equipment (-0.1%).

Management completes its presentation by maintaining the 2018 targets in the short and medium term, including an acceleration of the EBITDA growth rate and Operational Cash Flow compared to 2017, a peak of investments (CAPEX) of € 7.4 billion and the maintenance of the ratio net debt / EBITDA around 2. It finally announces an increase of 5 cents of the dividend per share, for the fiscal year 2017, at 0.65 € per share, and the commitment to increase it to 0.70 €, ie 5 additional € cents, for the 2018 financial year.

If, in general, the elected members of the European Works Council, and the representatives of the CFE-CGC Orange in particular, welcome the good results posted by the Group for the whole year 2017, they recall that the € 2 billion in profits generated by the Group are directly related to the work of all employees in Europe.
