{"id":8947,"date":"2018-03-15T10:55:54","date_gmt":"2018-03-15T10:55:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8080\/?p=8947"},"modified":"2018-03-15T10:55:54","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T10:55:54","slug":"la-strategie-d-orange-business-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.cfecgc-orange.app\/index.php\/2018\/03\/15\/la-strategie-d-orange-business-services\/","title":{"rendered":"La \u00ab\u00a0strat\u00e9gie\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;Orange Business Services: navigation \u00e0 vue ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[<em style=\"font-family: Lato; font-size: 14px;\">French version here\/English version below<\/em>]<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre du Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Europ\u00e9en d&rsquo;Orange des 27, 28 f\u00e9vrier et 1er mars 2018 \u00e0 Paris, la Direction du Groupe a inscrit un point \u00e0 l&rsquo;ordre du jour relatif \u00e0 la Strat\u00e9gie d\u2019Orange Business Services pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par Thierry Bonhomme, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Adjoint, Orange Business Services.<\/p>\n<p> Orange Business Services entend se positionner comme le partenaire de confiance de ses clients le mieux \u00e0 m\u00eame de les accompagner au cours des 5 \u00e9tapes cl\u00e9s du \u00ab&nbsp;voyage de la donn\u00e9e&nbsp;\u00bb que sont la collecte, le transport, le stockage, la s\u00e9curisation et la transformation. <\/p>\n<p> La force d\u2019Orange Business Services est d\u2019offrir un service de bout en bout, avec une strat\u00e9gie de diff\u00e9renciation fond\u00e9e sur sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 accompagner au mieux le client sur chacune de ces \u00e9tapes du parcours de la donn\u00e9e, strat\u00e9gie qu\u2019Orange Business Services estime \u00eatre la bonne puisque ses r\u00e9sultats lui permettent d\u2019afficher une croissance du chiffre d&rsquo;affaires et un niveau d\u2019EBITDA sup\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 ses concurrents (British Telecom Gloabl Services, T Systems, Verizon B2B, Tata Com).<\/p>\n<p> La croissance des revenus en 2016 s\u2019est ainsi maintenue en 2017 avec des relais de croissance que sont la cyberd\u00e9fense et le cloud susceptibles de compenser la d\u00e9croissance des activit\u00e9s de r\u00e9seaux. Ainsi la strat\u00e9gie pour l\u2019avenir se d\u00e9cline selon les trois items&nbsp;: A pour Applications, C pour Cloud et D pour D\u00e9fense. <\/p>\n<p> Pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer son d\u00e9veloppement dans ces trois secteurs, OBS privil\u00e9gie les partenariats sectoriels (sant\u00e9, automobile etc.), mais aussi avec les acteurs mondiaux majeurs (Amazon, Microsoft) et n\u2019exclut pas de se lancer sur de nouveaux territoires comme l\u2019Italie. Thierry Bonhomme croit particuli\u00e8rement au renforcement de l\u2019activit\u00e9 cyberd\u00e9fense et \u00e0 la l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 d\u2019Orange dans ce domaine, car la fonction d\u2019op\u00e9rateur de r\u00e9seaux permet de mani\u00e8re privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e de d\u00e9tecter efficacement les attaques via des marqueurs sur les r\u00e9seaux. Dans le m\u00eame temps, si les services sont un relais de croissance en France, la Direction reconna\u00eet qu&rsquo;ils ne le sont pas encore \u00e0 l&rsquo;international, sauf peut-\u00eatre au Benelux. Les acquisitions \u00e0 l&rsquo;international demeurent donc le moyen de travailler efficacement \u00e0 notre positionnement.<\/p>\n<p> Les objectifs pour 2018 s\u2019inscrivent dans une parfaite continuit\u00e9 de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e. Le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019Orange par des acquisitions pourrait se concr\u00e9tiser dans le domaine du Big Data. Les acquisitions constitueront ainsi le troisi\u00e8me axe strat\u00e9gique de d\u00e9veloppement, avec l\u2019innovation interne favoris\u00e9e par la formation, les recrutements et les partenariats. <\/p>\n<p> Patricia Waldon-Werner, Directrice des Ressources Humaines d\u2019OBS, est \u00e9galement intervenue pour pr\u00e9senter le projet de gestion pr\u00e9visionnelle des comp\u00e9tences mis en place pour les 23&nbsp;000 salari\u00e9s d\u2019OBS . Ce projet est articul\u00e9 en trois phases&nbsp;: <\/p>\n<p> &#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1\u00b0 la d\u00e9termination des comp\u00e9tences clefs chez OBS, suite aux entretiens de 35 managers et le feedback compl\u00e9mentaire<br \/> &#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 2\u00b0 le recensement et la cartographie des comp\u00e9tences<br \/> &#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 3\u00b0 le croisement de la cartographie avec les cibles attendues et la d\u00e9finition des actions \u00e0 partir des analyses effectu\u00e9es, en particulier en mati\u00e8re de formation et de recrutement. <\/p>\n<p> <b>Les \u00e9lus ont regrett\u00e9 que la pr\u00e9sentation ne d\u00e9cline pas les impacts sur les \u00e9quipes de la strat\u00e9gie de l\u2019entreprise dans le secteur d\u2019activit\u00e9 d\u2019OBS \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle des entit\u00e9s europ\u00e9ennes repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es au Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Europ\u00e9en. Les \u00e9lus estiment que la strat\u00e9gie est port\u00e9e par les femmes et les hommes d\u2019OBS, et que c\u2019est sous cet angle qu\u2019elle doit \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en s\u00e9ance pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re de l\u2019instance europ\u00e9enne. Les impacts RH ont uniquement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9s sous l\u2019angle des comp\u00e9tences et de la formation par la DRH intervenue en compl\u00e9ment de Thierry Bonhomme. L\u2019information relative \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de 700 recrutements en France et 2000 \u00e0 l&rsquo;international (en particulier en Allemagne et en Belgique) a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9e en s\u00e9ance, aucune ne l&rsquo;a \u00e9t\u00e9 s&rsquo;agissant de la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;un centre de services auquel il a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait mention par la Direction.<\/b><\/p>\n<p> <b>A \u00e9t\u00e9 abord\u00e9 \u00e9galement la question de la mobilit\u00e9 des salari\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019international. Des efforts sont entrepris pour former les salari\u00e9s en anglais et les inciter \u00e0 des \u00e9changes de 3 \u00e0 4 semaines en particulier avec les Etats-Unis (programme Mobility in Motion), sans que nous n&rsquo;ayons \u00e9t\u00e9 convaincus de l\u2019organisation d\u2019une v\u00e9ritable politique favorisant la mobilit\u00e9 des salari\u00e9s en Europe. <\/b><\/p>\n<p> <b>Les \u00e9lus salari\u00e9s d\u2019OBS ont en particulier demand\u00e9 des \u00e9claircissements sur les fusions et acquisitions en cours. Ainsi, d\u2019une part, le programme dit de simplification pour la France pr\u00e9voit d\u2019int\u00e9grer Equant dans Orange SA. Le deuxi\u00e8me programme concerne d\u2019autre part la fusion \u00e0 terme de neufs structures et filiales dans une entit\u00e9 OBS SA. <\/b><\/p>\n<p> <b>Enfin, interrog\u00e9 sur le RGPD (R\u00e8glement G\u00e9n\u00e9ral sur la Protection des Donn\u00e9es) \u00e0 l\u2019ordre du jour du Comit\u00e9 de Groupe Europ\u00e9en, Thierry Bonhomme a estim\u00e9 que celui-ci constituait une opportunit\u00e9 de business pour OBS, car il remettait tous les acteurs au m\u00eame niveau en Europe, mais qu&rsquo;il pr\u00e9sentait tout de m\u00eame quelques contraintes, telles que la nomination d&rsquo;un Chief Data Officer, un \u00e9norme travail sur le Syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;informations avec la nomination de propri\u00e9taires des outils du SI, ainsi que des propri\u00e9taires des donn\u00e9es transitant via ces outils. La Direction esp\u00e8re que la CNIL (Commission Nationale de l&rsquo;Informatique et des Lib\u00e9rt\u00e9s) observera tous ces efforts avec bienveillance.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>[<em style=\"font-family: Lato; font-size: 14px;\">English version<\/em>]<\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of the European Works Council of February 27, 28 and March 1st, 2018, Group Management has included an information point on the agenda related to Orange Business Services strategy, presented by Thierry Bonhomme, Deputy General Manager, Orange Business Services.<\/p>\n<p>Orange Business Services intends to position itself as the trusted partner of its customers best able to support them during the 5 key stages of the \u00ab\u00a0journey of data\u00a0\u00bb that are collection, transport, storage, security and transformation.<\/p>\n<p>The strength of Orange Business Services is to offer an end-to-end service, with a differentiation strategy based on its ability to best support the customer on each of these stages of the data journey, a strategy that Orange Business Services believes it to be the right one, as its results enable it to post higher revenue growth and higher EBITDA than its competitors (British Telecom Gloabl Services, T Systems, Verizon B2B, Tata Com).<\/p>\n<p>Revenue growth in 2016 thus continued in 2017, with growth drivers such as cyberdefence and the cloud likely to offset the decline in network activity. Thus the strategy for the future is divided into three items: A for Applications, C for Cloud and D for Defense.<\/p>\n<p>To accelerate its development in these three sectors, OBS favors sectoral partnerships (health, automotive, etc.), but also with major global players (Amazon, Microsoft), and does not exclude embarking on new territories such as Italy. Thierry Bonhomme particularly believes in strengthening the cyber defense business and the legitimacy of Orange in this area, because the network operator function allows a privileged way to effectively detect attacks via markers on networks. At the same time, if services are a growth driver in France, Management recognizes that they are not yet at an international level, except perhaps in Benelux. International acquisitions therefore remain the means to work effectively on our positioning.<\/p>\n<p>The goals for 2018 are a perfect continuation of the past year. The development of Orange through acquisitions could materialize in the field of Big Data. Acquisitions will thus constitute the third strategic axis of development, with internal innovation favored by training, recruitment and partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Patricia Waldon-Werner, Director of Human Resources at OBS, also spoke about the proposed skills management project for the 23,000 OBS employees. This project is articulated in three phases:<br \/>&#8211; 1 \u00b0 the determination of the key competences at OBS, following the interviews of 35 managers and the complementary feedback<br \/>&#8211; 2 \u00b0 the census and mapping of skills<br \/>&#8211; 3 \u00b0 the crossing of the cartography with the expected targets and the definition of actions based on the analyzes carried out, in particular in terms of training and recruitment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The elected representatives regretted that the presentation does not decline the impact on the teams of the strategy of the company in the sector of activity of OBS on the scale of the European entities represented on the European Works Council. The elected representatives believe that the strategy is carried by the women and men of OBS, and that it is from this angle that it must be presented in plenary session of the European body. The HR impacts were only evaluated in terms of skills and training by HRD in addition to Thierry Bonhomme. The information relating to the creation of 700 recruitments in France and 2000 internationally (in particular in Germany and Belgium) was given during the meeting, none was given with regard to the creation of services center referred to by Management.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Also discussed was the issue of employee mobility abroad. Efforts are being made to train employees in English and encourage them to exchange for 3 to 4 weeks, particularly with the United States (Mobility in Motion program), without us having been convinced of the organization of a real policy promoting employee mobility in Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In particular, the elected employees of OBS asked for clarification on the mergers and acquisitions in progress. Thus, on the one hand, the so-called simplification program for France plans to integrate Equant into Orange SA. The second program concerns the future merger of nine structures and subsidiaries into an OBS SA entity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Finally, questioned about the RGPD (General Regulation on Data Protection) on the agenda of the European Works Council, Thierry Bonhomme considered that it constituted a business opportunity for OBS, because it gave all the actors same level in Europe, but that it still had some constraints, such as the appointment of a Chief Data Officer, a huge work on the Information System with the appointment of owners of the IS tools, as well as the owners data passing through these tools.
