3 French Executives Convicted in Suicides of 35 Workers – The Union

PARIS — The former chief executive of one of France’s most important employers and two subordinates were detained on Friday of”institutional ethical harassment” from the suicides of 35 workers in the mid-2000therefore, in a landmark judgment that represents the very first time a French firm was held accountable for such a crime.

Unions representing the workers hailed the convictions. “Let this serve as an illustration that never again will there be such a coverage of societal violence,” that the C.F.E.-C.G.C. marriage said on Twitter.
